Question Meaning of Final stage of application!

Hello all I hope your Christmas shppoing is over by now. I am regularly contacting to INZ and enquiring my case status. I recently was informed that the my application is in the final stage. I was wondering about the time required for a case officer to make a decision. I know it all dependent on the individual officer. However, I am being panic at this moment.I hope many of us had gone through this stage. Could anybody share thoughts?

Just FYI. I am a silver fern job search visa holder and waiting for my resident visa. CO has contacted to the employer and got the information from my present employer.

I hope to hear some good news in the new year.

    Thank ya all!

By final stage, our CO meant it was going through approval process by supervisor, likely to be out of your CO's desk and into eye ball checking process I guess.

Just 2 days before we got our AIP, the medical status on the site changed to 'Received'.

Another thing to keep an eye on.

Hi Hesh, "Medical received" is displaying on my online status page for a week now. I think that is a good sign.

It's holiday time so I might have to wait for a little longer than I expected.

Thanks Hesh and congratulations on your approval.

    Hi,

When you log on INZ home page you can see "what's Happening" on the top right page.
If you click on it you will see all of your visa status and submitted application. You can see your medical details at the bottom of this page.

    Regards,
    Akash
