Default Thank you and a further question

Firstly thank you all for the encouraging replies and experiences shared

In view of the fact that our best shot would indeed be coming to NZ and applying for work, we were wondering... is there a best time of year for us to come to NZ to try our luck finding jobs?

I.e. do you think we should aim for the winter season or the summer season? Is there a period in which there are generally more jobs on the market?

Or is it irrelevant in your opinions?

Thanks once again for any input and feedback

Generally there is our summer- break (includes Xmas), not much is on.

The winter is occasionally a bit quieter than spring or autumn but not very much.

Of course there are some jobs or sectors which run seasonally, e.g. ski instructor.

Cool Ralf, thanks a million so Autumn and Sprint probably best and winter quite OK too, the summer months would therefore be the quietest.. so if we schedule the trip for around April that would be a good time

Depends what you do though - there was a massive number of admin jobs being advertised when we arrived in mid-Nov, right when I thought there'd be sod all! I started work today
