Default ITA payment by credit card or bank draft only?

i have gathered all documents needed to submit my ITA to the INZ branch in Beijing. On my ITA word document it stated that i need to get a bank draft from a bank outside of China to make payment only (didn't state anything about payable via Credit card) and on my ITA PDF document at the every end the payment section has payment via Credit card or Bank draft which i can choose.

Now has anyone paid the ITA free of CNY 8840 via credit card recently before? I would prefer to pay via Credit Card as it's more convenient for me.

    Hi Barney
I suggest you have a look at the fees and payment section of Beijing branch. The instructions are laid out in the excel file.

    http://www.immigration.govt.nz/branc...anchHome/fees/

It seems that the branch does not accept credit card payment....

    Hi Barney,

In our ITA, it stated only bank draft was accepted. We paid by bank draft in USD (not Renminbi) to Beijing branch. Cheers...

    Hi guys,

this was stated in my ITA:

    "Documents Required
You must supply the following for your application to be accepted:

    • Payment of the application fee of CNY 8,840 or US$ 1,315 which must be paid by way of a bank draft from a bank outside China made payable to the New Zealand Immigration Service. Please note that if you wish to make payment by bank draft in US dollars, a US$10 bank fee is applicable. In case you wish your originals to be returned back by courier on completion of your application, please include US$25 in the same bank draft."

So i guess i can pay RMB or USD

Please do check with your bank. They will advise you accordingly...to pay in RMB or USD. I remembered we had no choice but USD
