    Default Find Your Container Ship

    http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/index.html#search

Think someone may have posted this before, but quite a while ago. If you know the name of your ship that your precious belongings are on, you can find out where it actually is.

Ours has currently just left Taiwan.....

Due here 16th July, the day after we get the keys for our new house, good timing or what?????

New Country, New Life, New House, and surrounded by all of your old memories as you move in.

    Perfect timing...

Just thought I would check up where our container ship is ...

It was supposed to have arrived in Auckland yesterday, but the Crown website says it has not arrived. :eek

According to jubjub's ship website, it was last reported on 19th July in the middle of some ocean, near "Eagle Island". No reports since. :eek :eek

Isn't ignorance supposed to be bliss? :eek :eek :eek

    :?

Glenda, we got given the wrong ship name to start with, and it had not sailed since June 2004! You may have the same problem?

    I do hope so!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haven't heard from Crown yet ... the ship still doesn't seem to have arrived, or they haven't bothered to update the website. Oh to sleep in a real bed, sit on a real armchair and to have the kids quiet for a while ...

glenda, are you taling to Crown here or in UK? As the info I got from Crown here was far better than the UK office, or the tracking system, our UK Crown office has such a backlog, we did not find out our ship name for about 4 weeks, even auckland could not get it for us to start with!

Linda cole at Auckland was very helpful, not sure if she is your contact or not.

Actually jubjub, apart from the discomfort of living with minimal furniture, we are not too keen to persue Crown. We are still on visitor's visas but hope this to change next week. The thought of paying GST on it all is scary.
