    Default Section 18A conditions met

I've been working for over 4 months now, having started work the day after landing. So I've now handed in our passports and all the evidence requested in order to get the Section 18A conditions removed from our visas.

I dropped the paperwork off in person to the Welly branch (just around the corner from work) so I hope they're OK with that. They didn't list "Section 18A removal requests" on the list of things you could put in the drop box, but it wasn't on the list of things you couldn't drop either! Here's hoping!

Anyway, we're (nearly) fully "legal" now, so maybe worth having a few more of these

Yep, congrats, achieved that ourselves just before the New Year. Think its Sect 47 now though with the recent changes.

I was told to leave it in the Hamilton drop box, so you should be fine.

Jane had hers done in London, which they got all excited about as they had never had to do that before (which is logical!).

How long did it take INZ to send your passports back? I've had an email notification that they've received our "Residence Application"(?!) but not heard anything else. It says in the letter I got when we got our visas that this could take up to 20 days. It's been two weeks now.

Manks, that is 20 working days, iirc it took nearly 4 weeks to get ours back.
