    Question Devonport girl statue

In another NZ-forum someone asked for information on this "Devonport girl statue".

The exact location has not been provided.

Does anyone of you know something about it?

Yes she is situated beside the New World car park, outside Clarry's cafe on Clarence Street, Devonport.

The Flower Girl Sculpture was put up in memory of a girl who was killed.

I believe it is based on a tattoo that the girl had.

I think the scarves were later additions to keep her warm during winter.

I'm sorry I can't recall her name, I imagine it is on the base of the statue.
