How long from selected to ITA?

Hi,

I'm currently living and working in Wellington (on a WHV in a skilled area, IT). Put my EOI in for the 9th May pool and got selected on the basis of having more than 140 points, and I have a job.

Any ideas how long it should take before I get an ITA? I know it's only been two weeks but I'm going back to the UK soon for a fortnight and wanted to get everything I need sorted before hand or whilst I'm visiting home.

I've already had a medical from when I applied for the WHV and have sent off the police certificates.

Did you really get your EOI selected on 9th May?

Would expect your ITA within 4 weeks from getting selected but can be more or less.

How long ago was your last medical?

Officially you need a new medical for PR regardless of having submitted a previous medical but if it isn't too old then definitely worth asking you CO as they do sometimes accept them if they aren't too old.

Doh, I meant the 9th of March, as in just over two weeks ago

I'll leave it for another fornight then and then maybe give INZ a ring.

Medical was done in January this year so I was hoping I didn't have to shell out another $400.

I had my ITA approx 3 weeks after pool selection (see my signature).

I was expecting it quickly but it depends I guess on your CO workload, half term holidays etc.

Hold tight... but don't worry... as long as you get your application in within 3 months from Medical it should be ok... assuming you have everything ready to go!

Wasn't too long for me either. But didn't stop me checking every day
