Arrow temporary accommodation - two adults + 1 child

myself, my wife and 3yr old daughter are planning to come together on 1st week of June 2011, and start looking for jobs as we got our residency visa

anyone pls let us know if there is any temporary accommodation available for our family size of 3, until we find the right job.

we are looking for some temporary accommodation without getting into six months contracts / bonds .

we need a place where we pay weekly around $100 - $200 per week ( furnished ) until we find jobs and move to rented house

kindly let us know, thanks in advance for your info

Hi, it would probably help people if you said where in NZ you were looking.

$200 a week furnished in ChristChurch?

I think you would have a hard time finding accommodation for that even before the quake.
You may need to up the budget a bit.
Have you looked on Trade Me?

    Nick.

Ditto above, $200 a week furnished anywhere in NZ is going to be very very hard, and likely to be of very poor quality. And short term will generally mean higher prices, so that's going tobe even harder. However, as a house/flat share then perhaps you have a chance? As mentioned, then of course everything will be that much harder in ChCh at the moment.

My thoughts too; that will probably be the only option:Looking for a room in a flat. You might like checking 'all the student' addressing web sites.

thanks to all for your help and information

when i google'd i find out about this website

    http://www.wigramlodge.co.nz/Accommodation.html

when i ring them, they told me that do not welcome kids in their accommodation ;-( only single / couples

when i look for flatmates wanted section in TradeMe I saw few ads within 100 - 200 per week.

but is it for one adult or can I bring my family with me

based on this I have to book our flight tickets either for only myself or for my wife and kid all together

Generally it is for the room; however when there are more people than just one the amount most often rises because of the higher usage of services.
