Question NZ - have you put your heating on yet?

I started a similar thread on April 22nd 2008, so it's definitely at this time of year that things start to turn:

Although I must confess in our new house we haven't needed to yet, has anyone else needed to?

I also notice in the old thread Dharder replied 'what heating?'....I think that has changed now.

Yes, very windy/rainy today. Power was out for a couple of hours, socks on, fluffy blankets out and heaters on!

I did think today that I ought to test it.

    But no.

I do however admit to wearing socks with my shorts in the house tonight.

Yes we've had it on a few times. Warmed up the bedroom in the evening, and on this past weekend.

Yup, turned in on tonight for the first time this year.

My electric blanket stays on all year round. Don't always switch it on, but the nights were I don't are too few to bother actually taking it off the bed.

But that is just me, I did the same in the UK.

Yep, testing the heating in our new house now. It's lovely.
