Apparently the guy likes the house, and has requested a floor plan and photos, which are being done tomorrow.
I have spent my evening changing my son's bedroom from Buzz Lightyear green to lovely neutral cream, and am thoroughly exhausted!

Fingers crossed for good news tomorrow!

I would be curious on the difference in house valuations between a private valuation (ie. one done through a real estate agent) vs. one done by the local city council when they assess rates (property taxes).

We just had our house revalued by the city and the value was to our expectations. I'm just curious how this amount would differ to what the real estate agents use (or a private valuer). What's clear is all property valuations can be checked online and open to public, while individual valuations are done by a report only to the homeowner.
