Afterhours doctor visit
I just did a blog post about our experience at a Christchurch after-hours care centre -
thought it might be of interest to those wondering about health care in new zealand. Click here to see the post.
of course, it's just one experience and may not be representative, but for what it's worth... there you go.
For the very busy, here's the executive summary: sick child, good service, happy parents.

I always find it really interesting coming from a British perspective reading people from the U.S.'s take on health care because it is so different.
We take slightly crap but free health care for granted and we shouldn't.

Like Sam, coming from the UK perspective I also like to here about people from the US 's take on the healthcare they experience in social health care settings.
I am glad that you had a positive experience.
