Which are the suburbs above average. I mean when money is no a problem to rent up to 1100week.
Was thinking takapuna, milford, castor bay in north shore, and mission bay, saint heliers in auckland.
Anythoughts?

Above average for what? It'll depend on what are you looking for. Nightlife? Culture? Sports facilities? Scenery?
After having read some of Maxx_thor's questions, I am confused..., rent more than $900, $1000, more than $1100.....
Probably lots on here would wish to have these kind of problems/ decisions to make.....
Didn't you see the news about the high inflation over here? Only natural that rents would go up too.
;-)
And I do hope your not suggesting that the poster is trolling and just increasing the number until someone bites.
mmh, trolling, that's a thought
It felt more like showing off
lol !!
but am taking that positive..lets target on that salary range after 10 years from now..
Probably starting withthe wrong foot here. And probably my english is not perfect yet... But not showing off. I was offered a huge job in auckland, but i have no sense of the money standards there. Here in chile, ( the other side of the world) i live quite confortable, but i read nothing is comparable, other than 30 % higher cost of living, and 50 % more salary then south america countries. On housing, able to pay between 700-1000w. So best bet working on cbd is aming mission bay or saint heliers. Thanks for the tips
Can't you just tell him which are the top end suburbs?
Take a nice penthouse in the CBD so you can actually be in the city...
