Question 2 and/or 3 prong plugs in New Zealand?

I know other than learning to drive the wheel on the right hand side, the voltage is different in New Zealand as well.

My question is: are they 3 prong only plugs or 2 and 3 prong plugs?

    Many thanks!

Power in NZ is 230/240 volts which should be the same from where you're from (if I assume you're from Shanghai).

Throughout the day, line voltage can vary between 230 and 240 volts so it's not a set voltage.

As for the 2 or 3 prong plug, it makes no difference and you can use either plugs here in NZ.

The 3rd prong is the earth and there are many devices used today that don't require it

(ie. the device is entirely made of plastic - ie. battery chargers).

    Yep there's both.

The outlets all have three holes but the appliance will have either 2 or 3.
