Do you know what your application number is? If so, you should be able to check the status online - see http://dol.govt.nz/immigration/knowledgebase/item/1062. I had to contact them by email to get this sorted for my application, as it wasn't standard for partnership applications then (may not be even now).

That said, the agent should be the one keeping tabs on this if they're any good

    Default Thanks !!

Thanks for the info! I found out our application was sent from us here in
US to NZ and now back in Washington... more stress!!!
I have had to chase people constantly with every process, cats, shipping etc
they like there money up front please and then that's about the end of
    communication.
This forum has been so helpful!!! Nice to talk to people in the same boat who
understand how hard this can all be.

For some reason, I think Washington is slower than UK... I thought the average processing time through Washington was about 9 months... may have read it somewhere on the forum on another link. I know the waiting part is hardest... but it WILL get there. Hang in :-)

To be honest that's why a lot of people on here to apply without the aid of an agent, because the amount of legwork you have to yourself doesn't go down much - just your bank balance.

Fingers crossed for a good result, in spite of the stress!!
