Can you recommend a free email service?

I know there's Gmail, etc. But can you recommend one based here in NZ?

I've looked at a few but they seem kinda sketchy...

if you want a co.nz email address then that is a difference question

I wanted to stay away from gmail because I remember signing up on a couple of sites that didn't accept gmail.

Plus, it would be kinda fun to have a co.nz address....

Gmail is the best. The only issue I have is that it won't let me use my gmail address for my blog. It's strange as both my blog and gmail are through google. Who knows these things?

And I really understand wanting .co.nz!
