Hi
We are just wondering if there is any jobs for time served plumbers with 15 years experience. We are wondering whether to carry on to try and make the move or whether at the moment there is no point. Any advice would be great. Many thanks

I don't know details but am pretty sure that Canterbury now will need - especially experienced - plumbers.

Probably work going in Chch but you might be a bit over-qualified! Very little copper here, mostly crimped together plastic stuff. Very few wet heating systems either.

I would think that there will be enough commercial and industrial buildings too that a bit more challenging.

You need to be registered as NZ qualified and jump through many hoops to be paid the going rate. Maybe there are exceptions in Christchurch? Have you tried the search button?
