Need urgent immigration translation please

Hi folks,
So here's the deal
Submitted ITA 16/08/2011 (150 points no job offer)

Got a new application number via online services with Nz Immigration few days after that.

Today I get an email saying this:

Your immigration application status has been updated. To view these changes please log in to Online Services

So logged on and where you open your window to - what's happening now it would seem that there has been as addition of an lodgement date (17/08/2011) AND an addition of this:

Certificate Type Date Received Status
Full Medical 06 Sep 2011 Received


DOES THIS MEAN that we have a case officer assigned or is it just a case of someone has picked the envelope up and opened it?

First date is when they received your application and entered the details on their system, its teh date your application is lodged. Secodn date is when someone looked at your medicals, this date is few days after lodgement date. I assume your medicals are ok thats why it says full medicals received.

When CO will be assigned, INZ will contact you. Everything so far is normal so chill out.

And from what others have found, the date on the medical seems to change every time anyone accesses your details (even if it's not apparently anything to do with the medical itself), so don't be surprised.

It does mean it's being looked at but as JandM says, the dates will keep changing so you'll get a few more of these emails. You get one when you get your blue stickers and then any other time you have something done!
