Recommended dog kennels - Christchurch

Can anyone recommend anywhere in Chch for us to leave our dog for a few days? There were a few near to us in the UK and they ranged from absolutely fabulous to downright dingy and dirty. Would prefer an indoor kennel for her although I might get funny looks from a few Kiwis for saying that!!

We kenneled our dogs with Donquest - just outside the airport.

They were there for 9 months (due to us returning to the UK) We did visit them there and the dogs seemed happy, the staff were really friendly and seemed to genuinely love the animals.

Their kennels were indoors with outside pens.

They even took our terrier to the beach for runs with one of the other small dogs that he had become friendly with.

I can't recommend them highly enough.

Not sure if they have been affected by the earthquake though.

I don't have a dog, but one of hubby's colleagues runs this place with his wife. Looked very nice when we visited for a bbq.

They have indoor and outdoor areas depending on what the dog needs, so might suit?

Donquest 100% Left our Lab there for 5 months untill she coud be shipped back to UK to be with us

We've used Katznk9z http://www.katznk9z.co.nz out at Lincoln and Oxford boarding kennels. Both have friendly staff and indoor facilities.
