    As long as you can understand and make yourself understood, why on earth shouldn't you apply for jobs? Go for it, and the best of luck. There is nothing wrong with having an accent - EVERYBODY has an accent of some kind, including native speakers.

    Any news on a new time/date for the interview MS?

    Sorry, I haven't been on here in a while....had the interview a week ago....most nerve wracking!!

    Ended up with 2 on the panel (phew) and they interviewed me for over an hour (or should that be, I rattled on for over an hour lol )

    Haven't heard anything yet, but the agency said that's normal for NZ.

    Got another interview on Monday night for Auckland DHB but at least they're now on DST now so not such a late night as the last one.

    Gah, interview on Monday has been postponed! To be rescheduled in "next couple of weeks"

    Didn't get the Thames position...apparently they wanted more post-grad experience.
    Hmmm, well they knew how much post-grad experience I had before interviewing me. Have asked for more structured feedback.......
