    Smile On the up...have interview!

Well from being dazed and confused last week I can report life in Tauranga is on the up on a personal level, unfortunately I cannot say that for the area given the oil spill devastation.
Perseverance has paid off and I have an interview next Wed - I am thinking positive as I was called out of the blue and all a bit strange. I had to undertake some assessment tests and received very good feedback but was rather miffed I did not get interview and when I asked why they said because they had 60 very good applicants. Two days after email saying I was unsuccessful, (the Monday when i was Dazed and Confussed and pretty fed up as this was 4th application for same job), the job was re-advertised and on the day I resubmitted my application I was contacted for an interview, although closing date for job not for 8 days?! Fingers crossed my 10 years work experience in the field is going to count for something and we can settle in Tauranga! Even if not successful at least it's an interview and my DH has had a really good week at work and settling in well.
Just need house in UK to go through.
Hopefully that's my 3 month wobble over...suspect Christmas might be difficult! I am sure Skype makes everything harder.
    Onwards and Upwards
Lets hope things get better for the beautiful coast too X

I saw they were looking for people to work in the control centre on Camron Road. Office type admin, not sure if it was voluntary or paid (volantary I assume) but may be worth considering. 4 days on, 4 days off.

I'm not even over there yet and I'm having wobbles already!

Good luck with the interview, hope it goes well for you.
