Dunedin has a very large student population so I guess during term time there are lots of young people around.

    Hello again dears.
Yeah. I will be in there during mostly term time. I want to learn another important point. I know it depends on the life quality but how much money is enough to live for per week in the average without accommodation? 200$ is enough without?

Here is a thread where people are discussing what they find they spend in NZ for various expenses. http://www.enz.org/forum/showthread.php?t=35524

Most students live close to varsity/polytech, so still on sea level. Bus system here (not only Dunedin, but all over NZ by my experience) is not as good as in Central Europe but sufficient. I would think that you can live well without the need for a car. The students I know here in town can do satisfactory with $200/week plus accommodation.
