Anyone here in the pharmaceutical industry or who knows one?
How is the pharmaceutical industry in NZ?
Do they employ a lot? Is it difficult to find a job in that field?
Any suggestion would be of big help.
Thank you very much.

I could be wrong but I seem to remember something about being a pharamacist from avalonsguide. Maybe you could look them up on the web.
I'm a retail assistant in a backwater pharmacy I'm hoping to start on my pharmacy technicians course soon, having spoken to the technicians and pharmacists they have said there's always a demand for technicians and pharmacists. Seems like a good thing to be into as nearly all small towns to large cities have at least one pharmacy in them.
No idea about the pharmacutical company side though.
thank you very much! =)
Hiya Frappe,
There is not much of a pharmaceutical industry in NZ. Many of the big companies have medical information departments, and all have some sort of sales force, but there is very little manufacturing done in country.
Baxter (in Auckland and Christchurch) do sterile compounding for most of the country...and this takes a surprisingly large number of people.
You should be able to find a few listings on seek.co.nz
Pfizer are based in Mt Eden in Auckland.
