    Default NZ RN Medal

So, I got my packet of info yesterday saying that my nursing registration for NZ was accepted (yea!).

I am wondering if getting a nursing medal is important/necessary?

I am from the US and we get nursing pins which are very insignificant (in fact, I don't even have one).

Also, we are looking to move April/May of 2012, any advice on when to start looking for jobs?

    Thanks!

I haven't bothered to get mine...they want $35+ for it!!

Not sure how significant they are tho, I was more concerned to get my little APC card

I have not got one either. (UK trained)

Not compulsory to have one, its more a choice thing.

Never actually been asked why I dont wear one!

    I think they are funky!

It has your name on it looking forward to wearing mine.

Have my school badge from UK too.
