Default reassessment - WTR under SMC

    Hi,

I got WTR under SMC last July and started working from August.
I informed my CO and sent all the required documents at the of September.

However, I have not had any news from my CO, even if it's been 5 weeks
and there's no need to assign CO because I applied PR in Auckland.

I know that INZ officers are going long holiday in the middle of December.
I wish my application could be decided before December.

    Is that possible?

    Have a nice day...

Well, you may not be able to push them but can always follow up with an email/call, sometimes that does work!

You are supposed to send documents after completing three months of employment, you sent after 2 months?

You can ring on the INZ's free phone no (waiting time 25-30 minutes) and ask if a case officer is assigned. Usually after two weeks they assign a CO. You can ask INZ for his email address (if assigned) but in the mean time, gather docs of remaining period and send them. It goes in your file when they receive it.

After CO is assigned, it takes 2-4 weeks for reassesment. If you were issued WTR from outside NZ, ask INZ 9when you ring them) whether or not your physical file has been transferred from overseas branch to Auckland.

I informed my CO about my employment after one month I started working.
Next day my CO wanted me to send the employment contract, employer's letter, job description. So, I sent them to my CO. After 2 weeks later, my verificaton officer wanted my boss to send some additional documents, and he sent them at the end of September.
