Quiet cul-de-sac just around the corner from Karori Park which has a children's play area, walking/running track with exercise stations around it, cafe. Dairy, kindy and bus (number 3) walking distance. The bus takes 20 minutes to Lambton Quay and 30 minutes to Courtenay Place.
Fifteen minutes walk - or a couple of minutes by car to Karori Mall which has a Countdown and New World, pharmacy, knitting shop, shoe shop greengrocers, cafe and is opposite a lovely library and cafe. Indoor swimming pool near there too. There are schools in the area but I know nothing about them.
The current lease is until the end of February but you can talk to the agent about extending it. This means it would be suitable either as a longish term rental or for people who want something more short term while they find something they really, really want to rent or buy.
* the only thing the landlord includes is a cooker but we do have a spare fridge-freezer and possibly a washing machine we can lend or sell depending on how long they are wanted for.
