Any way around 6 month wait to take driving test?

Hi, so I never got around to getting my full licence before I left Ireland - failed the practical test by 1 point (pure nerves and a silly mistake, no level 3 mistakes) and no time to re-take as I was leaving.




I was wondering is there any way around the 6 month waiting time to take the restricted test, as with a few lessons I'd be good to take it - have done so much already.

Has anyone successfully applied for an exemption?

The commute to work is killing me as I have to be up so early for public transport and really need a car!

I didn't have to wait because I had provisional license from the UK so worth checking the status of your Irish license and see if they can waive the wait period
