Default Lodgement Date vs Medical Received Date

Morning - or evening - depending on your location!

Can anyone tell me why the medical received date is different to the logdement date on our application? Our online status is showing the lodgement date as 13 December, but medical received date as 15 December - is it just the order in which they do things? Or does it mean the medical has gone to the MA?

    Many thanks!

Medical received date is always after the lodgement date, probably someone looks at medicals then put a date on it. In my case it was one month afrer lodgement date. Just a normal thing, no worry.

And it's also normal that this online date changes, we THINK whenever some official accesses the details for anything.

Well that's also good to know, and it will be nice to see things happening online. Of course it's Christmas at the end of next week so things will slow down

I know my medical will go to the MA (the others should be fine) but I have included a letter from a specialist in the particular field which should hopefully help things along.

We had unexpected delays due to heavy snow in UK (2009), our CO mentioned that there were postal delays and transport system had badly effected. It just seems that medical assessment is sent via post so such delays do happen.
