    Default Residence Visa (Partnership) approved

    Hello everyone

My post is one of those "thank you", but I really want to say thank you so much guys, you really helped me a lot.
I've got my Residence Visa on the base of my partnership with my Australian boyfriend.
I have read a lot that it usually takes longer to get approval through Auckland branch, but imagine my surprise when I've got approval in less than 3 months from the date of lodging the application.

Congrats kznz! Your post really made my day (night)! I've just applied for Residence through my Aussie partner, too (on the 16th).. and I'm aiming for a fast and smooth process. I'm currently based in Auckland.. and today I received a letter from Immigration.. saying that it might take up to 9 months, but only for a CO to be assigned to my application.. :/ (so as you can see, you message really cheered me up!!)
Would you mind sharing a little bit more about your process? What evidence did you present? I've been living with my partner for nearly 1 and a half yrs (and we've been together for nearly 3 yrs).. and even thou we had a pretty 'solid' application.. I still have that fear of being asked for more evidence.. Thanks a lot! And congrats again..
