Temporary Accomodation in Chch

I expect to arrive in Chch during March 2012. I need to find a temporary house to rent for one month or so. It needs to be furnished until I find a job and buy stuff and settle down . Since, I would be travelling alone, shared accomodation would do just fine.

It will be ideal if its 1 Furnished bedroom & within walking distance to parks, supermarkets, public transportation, etc

Please suggest me some good suburbs and also, if there are web sites apart from trademe for short term rentals.

These are holiday home websites and probably the easiest way to find short term furnished accomodation, though be aware that accomodation is currently at a premium in Christchurch.
