Default IT Professionals-- Yes We're Looking for People!

If you have experience in the following areas, please forward me your resume here as a first review.
If it seems like a possible fit I'll forward onto our HR Manager.
We are a fast growing consultancy like a Deliotte that is based in Auckland and Wellington, and work with many blue chip clients in New Zealand.

We're looking for people in the following areas:

    Enterprise/Solutions Architects

Due to an overwhelming demand from our clients for these skills, we are now seeking experienced architects who are able to operate through Enterprise and Solution disciplines. These individuals will typically have the following attributes:

    - at least 10+ years IT industry experience with 4-7 years specific architecture experience in large and/or complex environments
    - an ability to describe and model systems using common modeling languages such as UML
    - clear understanding of the various architectural view points and perspectives
    - practical usage of big and small methods such as RUP, TOGAF, ZACHMAN and SCRUM

    Guidewire/Java Consultants

The Financial Services sector is a key market for our company. We have developed a strong business in the implementation of the Guidewire suite of Insurance applications. These skills could be either Guidewire functional configuration or technical integration. We work with some of New Zealand's leading insurers in both Auckland and Wellington and are looking for people with Guidewire experience in the following areas:

    · PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimsCenter

Data Warehouse Consultant with Cognos or OBIEE

We are looking for a technically savvy, Business Intelligence & Data Warehouse practitioner, to work across a range of projects, including Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Master Data Management and Data Migration. You will have proven hands on expertise in the following areas:

    - requirement gathering & analysis, data analysis, SQL, data modelling, report design & development, and experience in BI tools such as Cognos or OBIEE

Business Objects (BO) Architect - Auckland

We are now looking for a Business Objects Architect to join our growing Enterprise Information Management team. Knowledge of V4 would be great, but at the minimum you will have solid experience in a recent version of BO. You will have experience in installing the product and setting up the environment for development. You may also have performed in a technical lead role and/or experience in QA'ing people's work. You will most likely come from a Consulting background and will have worked on a range of projects in this type of role. Most importantly you’ll need to be used to dealing with business users and be able to explain complex technical problems in simple business terms. If you want to be at the forefront of establishing Information Management as an agenda item for senior executives, then we are the organisation for you. We are also key contributors to the Mike2.0 Open Source methodology for Enterprise Information Management that provides an organising framework for Information Development. So this is a great opportunity to share your knowledge and develop your own skills further.

    Senior Data Architect

We are looking for a Manager level consultant with hands-on experience to work across the full range of Enterprise Data Management projects, including Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Governance, Master Data Management and Data Migration. You will have a wealth of experience in a Consulting organisation and proven experience in:

    - managing and delivering Data Management projects, managing and mentoring junior consultants and of course, be an expert at what you do technically, and not be afraid to get your hands dirty.

Previous consulting experience, including business development/relationship selling and proposal writing would also be an advantage, but if you prefer to focus on being a technical expert and delivery, then that's fine too. We use, and train our people in, Tier 1 Data Integration tools so exposure to platforms, such as IBM InfoSphere, Informatica or SAP Business Objects, is essential. Positions listed above are being recruited for at this time as well as change management and management consulting professionals with experience in IT implementation as listed above and (SAP in particular). One of my referrals is getting contacted this week for an interview. So fingers crossed there may be success stories in the next few months!

Manks --Comms/PR? One idea is to contacted www.prinz.org.nz/.
They should have a job posting board at that PR/Communication association?

    Hey,
Have you tried to register with Air NZ? Recently I came across some of their requirement specifically towards Cargo management.
