Finally, 3 weeks after submitting further information on my medical condition, we have heard today that it has been cleared What a weight of my mind this is, as you can imagine!

Our Case Officer hopes to give us a provision decision on our application this afternoon - I assume if it's favourable, it will then have to be double checked by another C/o - does anyone know how long that is likely to take? Or is that the usual "how long is a piece of string?" question?

That's good news.

I think it's quite unusual that a CO says yes or no to an applicant before having had the colleague verification done, so you may not be in for a wait - but if you are, then yes, how long is that string!

Great news. I think our cross check took a day or two, and I did have a job offer in my favour like you. Hope you're put out of your (next) misery soon :-)

Thanks - that's reassuring. Our CO said she's very busy at the moment - a sign of the times in the UK at the minute I guess - but hopefully it will all progress quickly
