    Default St Marys Tauranga

    Hi

Anyone know if St Marys in Tauranga is zoned?

Cant seem to find out from the website.

If not then what areas do the kids who go there generally come from?

Picking somewhere to live and go to school is a nightmare!!!

    Help appreciated

    Hi Suze,

St Mary's is a Catholic school so you only apply if you can take a card from your church.....they sometimes have places for non Catholics....but realistically few....no catchment area...but getting in and out of town in the morning will probably mean you will want to be fairly close...are you resident here yet?

if not and you need more help just ask...Marion t

Hi, I've had some minor involvement with the school through my job, the kids there are from all over Tauranga. As mentioned above, I believe this is because is due to it being a Catholic school.

Thanks to you both for that information. We are Catholic so that shouldn't be a problem and we are thinking of Omokoroa as a place to live which we've been told is about a 20 minute commute to the school (?), but should be on my way to work if I accept my job offer ! Exciting times!
