Arrived and Counting Completed and Job on :)

Hi Folks
Firstly I would like to thank you all Forumites to have given unconditional support in me achieving my visa , showing my tantrums and yeah all for the blue banana.
My Story - After I got the Blue banana
Arrived in Auckland Jan 4 th , weather was good.
Finding a place was a challenge landed up Oceanic something -
Not great but for a while it was just okay (My Room was bad)
Next moved to a shared accommodation and then Job Hunt began.
Registered at the library for reference and internet.
Stayed almost every day in Library - Like 9 to 5 (Getting used to office time)
I felt I arrived a week earlier - All cameback to work only Jan 15 or so.
At times I was low and felt desperate , since I got no calls for the whole week , but persistence work.
I have secured a Job on the West coast - What a place to be -
Rain and Sunshine are the only things I see ! And My Job too

Hi Congratulation,

Is it the gap between Interview and Approval a whole 1-year?!
If so, wander why that long, almost 3-years from EOI to Aucklanding.

Congrats Rashvk - there might be few nitty gritty of things to pick up in terms of work culture and socializing (which gives good references), so all the best & am glad you got over the initial shortcomings
