Hello Everyone - Have a doubt on EOI for Occupation and Education

Hi Guys,

I am trying to fill the EOI for NZ Immigration and have a doubt on bonus points for Recognized Qualification.

My degree is B.E. Electronics and I have experience under Systems Administrator category of around 5+ years in comparable market, while in the list the education listed is Bachelors Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Technology. Can anyone advise if I can claim the bonus points?

Did any subjects in your BE cover subjects related to Systems Administration? I completed my Bachelors in Electronics Technology and Masters in Information Technology, our CO questioned me about how close these two streams were, I simply submitted detailed course biography of Bachelors & subjects that were actually related to computers, digital communications, IT administration (though all these were general subjects). At the end of the day, I did manage to get bonus points.
