Slow is not nice but still possible, however this is worse:
'The sibling and adult category will be closed soon after the Department of Labour - which oversees Immigration NZ - provides further details on implementation and changes to the parent category to be introduced from July, the paper says.'

Hmm, wonder how they will determine 'high-income' and whether they will look at assets as well as income. Just thinking as high income and wealth are such subjective matters.

That's a bummer the sibling stream being closed. I'm glad Oregonkiwi posted that. That was out back-up plans few years out if we decided to stay in the US a few years more and then move over. Good to know. Seems a shame (just being selfish).

For us it is the removal of the adult child category that is quite negative. Our son did not want to join in with the rest of us coming here back then.
