Question How do you know you're in New Zealand?

Just wondering, what are the things that really tell you you're in New Zealand and nowhere else?

And the same to you too mate!

    Ha ha, just joking.

I'd never heard of Feijoas. Had to look them up. Are you meaning they're in the shops to eat or that the plants are everywhere?

We'd never heard of them either until arriving in New Zealand. We now have a feijoa tree growing in our garden because like lemons if you haven't got any then you've either have no friends or no garden.

    So true.

My daughter just also came up with L&P, but we have now found that you can get that with your burger at Gourmet Burger Kitchen in the UK.

Every car has a tow bar and every family has a trailer (or knows someone who does!)

You can buy them in the shops, in season of course, which is around March/April time, most people we have met out there have a tree in their garden. Sadly we have to make do with Feijoa jam when we are at home - but we will have our own tree when we get out there
