Snooker
Hello all,
Long time reader, first time poster.
Been enjoying watching the snooker world champs on the TV. Got the Maguire-Carter semi-final playing just now. Is tehre any interest in snooker in New Zealand? Can you watch the action?
Thanks,
PC

Hello and welcome.
There's certainly a lot of snooker played in NZ - no doubt those there will tell you about TV coverage.

Thanks JandM. I haven't played snooker for years. Love to watch the world champs though. I've only played a few times on full sized tables and it was really hard to pot a ball, never mind getting the white ball lined up for the next pot. The players on TV make a really hard game look much easier than it really is. Still wondering if there's much TV coverage in New Zealand.

No idea really, we use the Expat Shield VPN setup to connect to BBC iPlayer and then watch the streaming.

Thanks for your replies everyone. rupicola, do you record the streaming so you can watch it at a reasonable hour? How do you do it?
