Question Confused about EOI Fees and partner fees for that

    Hello!!!

I want it to ask you about the whole residence fees: Does my partner have to pay as much as I do for the application?

We are going to apply together for that, and I´d like to know how much will be the total fee (2k+ plus her application as partner?).

    Thanks!!

Just to check - you are going through the Skilled Migrant scheme, is that right? (I'm possibly confused by your timeline mentions of Silver Fern.)

If that is so, then no, she doesn't have to pay separately at the EOI stage. It's YOUR application and she's part of it. Look on the fees finder on the INZ website, entering the appropriate details, and you'll see the appropriate amount. http://www.immigration.govt.nz/migra...eescalculator/ When you get to the point of being offered Residence, you will each have to pay the Migrant Levy, however. http://www.immigration.govt.nz/migra...ed/default.htm

Hi JandM! Thanks for your answer.

Im currently holder of the Silver Fern Practical Experience visa (2nd stage of the silver fern visa). Because I want to live permanently in NZ, and I have now more than 140 points.. I´m saving money for the whole application.

Thats why I´m investigating the exact ammount!

What visa does your partner have at the moment?

I was thinking, this area may apply to her http://www.immigration.govt.nz/migra...milystream.htm, but it sounds as though you've already found it.
