Are vitamins allowed to bring in NZ?
Hi,
I'm scheduled to fly next week to Auckland. I want to ask if vitamins like C, E, B-12 are allowed in Customs? I will be bringing bottles that contain 400 capsules each. Do I have to declare these and would the quantity be allowed?
Thank you.

How many bottles?
I would image that the quantity would dictate what customs/MAF would react as these vitamins are available here.

As regards are you allowed to bring them in then yes, its the quantity or the value of that quantity that governs if you will need to pay gst. As long as the overal value of stuff you have brought in that you have paid for to bring over to NZ and is new does not exceed $700 then you will be ok

Hi,
I'm planning to bring one bottle each for Vit C, E, B-12 and Glucosamine with each bottle containing 400 capsules. Would these be ok? I think the total amount would be less than $700NZD.
Thanks.
