Christchurch NZIS - permanent residence visa/old IRRV

Just wondered if anyone in Christchurch had recently applied for one of these. We are due to apply before the end of the month, but it appears from the NZiS website that the Chch office is not open to visitors. Is this correct and do I have to send form and passports off? Possibly give them a ring next week, but wondered if anyone had any post EQ recent experience.

From Wednesday 7 March 2012 Christchurch Branch is:

Open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm.
Open on Wednesdays from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.

They have updated the website since I looked on Thursday night, when it was saying that the office was still closed for public access...brilliant, problem solved, wIll ring them on Tuesday and see if I can make an appointment for the day our two years are up!

I rang NZIS and they advised that there are still no public appointments so I still have to courier the passports to the office in Christchurch, no facility for appointments or drop offs...
