    Question Mobile Broadband on arrival

I need to be connected as soon as I arrive for work and want a USB plugin for my laptop.
Any suggestions for which mobile broadband package to choose on arrival? Best provider/deals/reception etc?
Area will be North Shore, Auckland

When I arrived I got myself a pay as you go dongle from Vodafone but soon upgraded my pay as you go mobile to a contract as this was cheaper.

If I were doing it again I would skip the dongle step.

There are Vodafone & Telecom stores just after arrival gates, either of it will work for you.

Recently during our Oz trip, we bought a Pocket Wifi device (which was real cheap there - about $80 for device with 3GB data allowance), a device of that sort will come handy. Still prepaid broadband is very very expensive.

Twodegrees do 1GB for $20, lasts a month, or 5GB for $50, lasts 2 months. I use it when away from home, set my smartphone as a mobile hotspot and connect to it with my laptop, easy as. They do a USB dongle as well, check website for $$.
