Teacher relocation grant query...

On the NZ education site it says there is a grant:

$4000 for 0.5 FTTE or more secondary positions of 20 weeks or more
$2000 for 0.5 FTTE or more secondary positions of 6 - 19 weeks

I think this means that it is $2000 for the first 19 weeks and then another $2000 20 weeks onwards- but it could also mean $2000 for 6-19 and then another $4000 20+ (i.e. $6000 in total).

Has anyone any ideas? I have to put it through my Principal once I have arrived and been working.

CORRECTION- I have been looking at the wrong form (doh!) it looks like either $2000 OR $4000.

Still interested whether anyone claimed this, though :-)

I did!
I remember there was a form to fill in, and, from memory...half the amount came after 6 weeks - the rest after a few more weeks.

There are conditions attached to be eligible.
