Default Sea Cargo rates from Singapore to Auckland

    Hi,

Has any one shipped their belongings from Singapore to Auckland or NZ, can you please let us know what sort of rates should one be looking at , and if there are any other charges on the goods once they arrive in NZ?

    Thanks

We paid around 4K SGD for shipping about 100 boxes, 1 Queen size bed, 1 dining table, huge L shaped Indonesian wooden furniture with center table. Once the goods arrive in NZ, they go through bio security (especially wooden stuff) and they might apply charges if any of your goods need treatment, if any goods are harmful for NZ environment then they could as well be destroyed.

    More info here

I just called Pattson Seow as suggested by Sun777. Apparently Pattson only does full load container. Jet, pm you.

Decided to go with SingPost especially since one third of our cargo is books - we will send them via M-bag to save some money. Rest of the cargo will go with sea freight. Hopefully our Singapore clothes will arrive in time for late Spring/early Summer!

This will be our last weekend in Singapore... looking forward to NZ!

Oops! I remember he was doing some restructuring sometime back, probably it was working out difficult to manage part containers.

Oh don't worry about it, sun777. Pattson referred me to his trade friend but I thought it would be cheaper for us to just use Singpost.

Just came back from nasi lemak, prata, and teh halia supper. Gonna miss those man!

Did they deliver and re-install the furniture for you in NZ?
