    Default What is the cheapest method of shipping a 5 lb pkg US>NZ?

    An American friend's daughter is an exchange student in Tauranga. She'd like to ship a 5lb package to her daughter in NZ but got a quote of $187 by UPS.
    I've heard courier is the cheapest. Would someone be kind enough to suggest a company or two that you've used from the U.S. to NZ.
