New rules re immigration for the Parent, Family sponsorship route

Hello I am applying for residency through the sponsorship route. My son and family live in Auckland. My application was logged in January 2012 and i was expecting to hear something in the next 18 to 24 months. Under the new proposed rules i would come under the tier one route. As my application is already logged will it still be processed in date order as before or will it be overlooked with new applications coming in under the new rules. I know that this is a difficult question to answer but wandered if anyone else is in this position. Have you any information J & M please. Thankyou

Your application won't be overlooked. It's in the system, and will be processed according to the rules that were in force when you submitted it. INZ are keeping everybody up to date. http://www.immigration.govt.nz/migra...entchanges.htm
