Which sort of verification? When the CO checks your evidence, or after interview, when your case is being verified by another official?

I think the verification time depends largely on the type of evidence than UK or Non UK nationals for e.g. qualification or work experience from Non EU countries might take more time compared to standard verification time lines - probably your CO is waiting for 3rd party to provide information/acknowledge some communication. There can be various reasons for the delay. Can you think of any evidence which could be fitting above bracket?
