Overseas Police Certificate needed??????

Hi All,

Is there a need to get any sort of Police Certificate for time spent in the Sovereign Base Area of Cyprus whilst serving in the British Army for 2 years. I am sure that it is classed as UK soil am I right ? Do I require any special police certificate that anyone knows from past experience? Any help in regards to this matter will be brilliant. In my opinion, if it is classified (as you said) as been part of the United Kingdom and if you were not submit to immigration control nor issued a visa doing your stay, then I believe you would not require another Clearance expect from that of the UK.

Thanks alot for the reply, you was right I got an answer back from NZ Immi and they told me a UK Police Certificate will cover me for the period in SBA Cyprus.
