    Default ASB Foreign Currency Account

    Anyone has any experience with using an ASB Foreign Currency Account? Am considering transferring money from the US to NZ but leaving it in US$ until we need it.

    My friend has just switched to ASB for his USD account. He likes that there's no monthly account fee. You should have no problem with them.

    I'm afraid I don't know about ASB, but I've had no problem opening a variety of FCAs with BNZ. Unfortunately I can't open one in Icelandic Krona... (we're going there next year)
