    Hi Ismail,

If you have any professional certifications it would be easier for you to find the job in NZ. Also it can be very difficult to get a job offer from overseas unless you are very lucky.

Yes, Silver Fern would be a good option. We were in the same boat; trying to apply from overseas and no joy. We finally saved up and came here on visitor visas (we're too old for WHV and SF). Hubby has similar skillsets to yours but with more experience; It took him 5 months to find a job. (What we did was risky and I am not suggesting it, but it did finally paid off.)

Ana congratualtions :-) what you did was very RISKY indeed.

@Ismail you should go for the Job search visa but do not burn the boats at home because any new place can be tricky. I would suggest like Ana to apply for the visa and give yourself at least 3-6 months to be able to find a decent job in ICTs. Their are a lot of jobs being advertised everyday but not sure where do they vanish :-)

Lastly, you will need some very good references in the market i.e. Telecoms & IT so start networking with people here on linkedinn that will help you learn more about the people here and also the way they approch ICTs.

    Best of Luck!
