    LTSS(http://www.immigration.govt.nz/migra...ls.htm?level=3)
list say that for for qualify bonus point in ICT, Electronics and
    Telecommunications u should have
    Bachelor degree (Level 7)
    specialising in Information
Technology (Computer ScienceInformation Systems or other
    Information Technology) OR
    Bachelor degree (Level 7)
    specialising in Electrical and
    Electronic Engineering and
    Technology.

but it seem that ur qualification doesn't math this criteria therefore u can't claim bonus point as well as Work Experience point.

I think experts forum member may also provide their opinion regarding this matter as well.

It would entirely depend on the content of his degree when assessed. The most important thing is never the name of the course, but whether the graduate would have covered the same depth and areas of knowledge as are considered as the basics in the NZ qualification to which it needs to be equivalent.

You cannot claim bonus point if your degree is mechanical but your job experience in Telecom.
